We’re still glowing from our very first When Alice Sleeps: Create Club event held at Quinto Lounge, Sutton Coldfield, over the half-term break — and what an incredible start it was!
On Saturday 25th October, over 30 children and families joined us for a cosy afternoon of colouring, creativity over yummy cakes. The room was full of laughter, little artists with big imaginations and lots (and lots!) of colour.

Armed with art supplies and a giant A1 poster of Sutton Coldfield’s Hot Spots, we set ourselves a fun challenge: how much of our town could we colour in together in 1.5 hours? 💜Spoiler alert — we coloured in a lot! From leafy parks to local landmarks, everyone helped bring our community to life in bright, joyful colour.
What made our first Create Club even more special were the children who shared their ideas for new When Alice Sleeps stories — including a futuristic ALICETRON (a robotic Alice Bunny!). The enthusiasm and imagination from our young guests were truly inspiring.
Why Create Club matters:
When Alice Sleeps: Create Club is all about building a creative local community — where children feel inspired, parents feel connected and creativity has no limits. By offering a warm, inclusive space for families to colour, create, and share ideas, we hope to nurture confidence, imagination, and joy in every child.

Inspire Each Other
We believe creativity grows best when it’s shared. That’s why we’re planning even more Create Club events — bringing locals together to celebrate art, storytelling and the hidden gems of our own town.
Schools, learning practitioners, libraries, and family-focused businesses — we’d love to connect! If you are interested in getting involved in our events or finding more about our events, send us an email – we LOVE making new friends!
Together, we can help nurture imagination, storytelling, and creativity in young minds; because when children create, they dream — and to us, that’s where the magic begins!
