The Flying Snowman
As the snow falls on December the first,
As we sing Christmas songs and eat bratwurst,
You may hear a gentle hiss and toot toot,
And see a Christmas train that’s oh so cute!
Is The Flying Scotsman coming to town?
“Er, actually” says Frankie with a frown
“It’s The Flying Snowman, I’ll have you know!
“And I shall be driving you through the snow.”
Alice’s nutcracker team are the crew
(Do get there early and avoid the queue).
This train isn’t powered by coal and steam;
It comes alive through Alice’s dreams!
With just a twitch of her strawberry mark,
Alice’s magic will create a spark;
The train will be off with a clickety-clack,
A hiss and a chug on an icy track.
Don’t pack your suncream, you’ll never get tanned,
We’re off on a festive trip to Lapland!
Do pack your cheesiest Christmas jumper
(Make sure it’s large; you’re bound to get plumper)
On board they’ll be serving hot chocolate whips,
Candy cane cookies and buttercream dips!
So all aboard for festive fun up north,
We’ll sleigh in Lapland by the twenty fourth,
Then we’ll zoom you back home in time to see,
What Santa has left you beneath the tree.
"Creative storytelling through illustration can help children see the world from different perspectives. When Alice Sleeps illustrations and products provide our little friends with an immediate vision of the characters, setting, and mood of the story. Our illustrations are an excellent tool for developing children’s analytical and interpretative skills, as well as enhancing their enjoyment of art.
